Germination Information
Pre-treatment: For seeds, cold stratify for 90 days at 39˚F in a Ziploc bag with a small amount of Metro-Mix 510 media. For cuttings, use 10-15 cm in length with 2-3 nodes, Hormodin 1, IBA 0.1%. Cuttings are recut at base and the lower leaves removed.
Establishment: Seed germination rates can vary greatly depending on the seed source. Rooting percentages for cuttings greatly decline when stock has formed flower buds.
