Germination Information
Pre-treatment: Seeds are placed in cold moist stratification for 60 to 90 days or 5 month outdoor cold, moist stratification for good germination percentages.
Establishment: B. wyomingensis is found from the prairies to the alpine; from British Columbia to Saskatchewan south to Nebraska, Colorado and Utah. It also occurs on open slopes from the foothills to high elevations, high plains and drier mountains; from Alberta and Montana west to eastern Idaho, east to South Dakota and Nebraska.
