Germination Information

Pre-treatment: None required, but after-ripening under cool, dry conditions may increase germination rate.

Establishment: Seeds are collected in late July or early August. They are dark brown at this point. Collected material must be covered to prevent seed loss. Store small amounts in paper bags at room temperature with the top of the bag covered with open weave cloth. Ensure good air circulation to prevent mold.
