Germination Information

Pre-treatment: Seeds from wet habitats do not require pre-treatment. However, the pulp should be completely removed from the seeds to prevent fungi and molds. Pre-treating seeds with fungicides can help prevent seed and seedling diseases.

Establishment: The plant is sensitive to high doses of fertilizer. Add the fertilizer when mixing the medium, do not apply as a top dressing to the surface after potting. For optimum germination, collect seeds that are mature or ripe.
