* How these results were determined: ecoregion boundaries come from a global habitat classification developed by conservation scientists at the World Wildlife Fund. Plant occurrence records come from GBIF (the Global Biodiversity Information Facility), an international open-data network built largely from citizen and academic scientists who photograph plants in the field and upload the sighting with GPS coordinates through apps like iNaturalist. This page shows every plant whose occurrence points fall within this ecoregion, across all the countries it spans, without checking each species' native range country by country.
